It is 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky on this beautiful October day, it’s hard to believe we are just over a month away from Thanksgiving! Before we know it Turkey Day will be upon us, and we want to share a few tips with you that are sure to “wow” your family and friends!
We already know our theme is Thanksgiving, so now we choose a color palate. We have our standard Turkey Day colors, however we needed to add a “pop” of color, and for this table decor we chose a bright lime green. We chose to incorporate the lime green in our decor by bringing it in through the charger plates, napkins, menu cards, and with the grapes in our centerpiece.
Look for ways to get extra creative! One of our favorite components to this particular table were the belt buckles that we incorporated though the chairs simply using ribbon and a cardboard cut out! We also used terra cotta pots (spray painted black), turned them upside down and added a ribbon and paper buckle to create a pilgrim hat!
Did you notice Captain John Smith is attending Thanksgiving dinner this year? And how about that candy corn on the table.. the possibilities are endless!
We tied our centerpieces together (no pun intended) with wheat, it created just the texture and focal point we were looking for! Complete with candles, amazing food and great company, this Thanksgiving feast was an enormous success!!
